The X30 has been designed with the specific aim to provide Karting drivers with an innovative yet faithful to tradition engine. The IAME X30 offers modern features, such as the electric starter, the balancer shaft and the water-cooling, yet preserving traditional Karting engines aspects, such as the diaphragm carburetor and no power valve. The result is an engine that offers a pure Karting driving experience, combined with ease of use and low maintenance.

The ICC X30 Shifter engine was developed with the recreational racer in mind. The engine offers reliability backed with a punch of horsepower to beat any shifter kart engine on the track. The cylinder is constructed with cast aluminum and an iron laser cut sleeve for perfectly cut angles and ports. This translates to repairs (if required) being much more cost effective since the cylinder can be honed rather than being re-nikasiled. This engine shares all the same electronics and many parts with the Parilla and X30 TaG engines.
